First the CPU sends the binary data to be displayed to the Graphics card where the Graphics card decides how to display them on screen.It is useful in displaying images/animations etc.
Many people not aware of the fact how to check the Graphics card memory.
Here's the solution......
Step 1: Click on Start then go to Run command
Step 2:Type dxdiag in run command
Step 3:Now you will get Directx Diagonstic Tool window.
Step 4:Click on Display Tab.
You will get details like manufacturer name, version ,memory of your Graphics card,Current display mode etc.

Press ctrl + alt + F12
Now you will get the Intel Graphics and media control option where you can get complete details about your graphics card.......
i hav 1gb radeon graphic card installed in my hp laptop . i want to check out its properties. how to get that info ?????

ReplyDeleteIt is called "Display" not video. If there is no display your computer may be running on a basic windows video driver and not recognizing the video chip. If that is the case you need to try and get the proper video driver from the video card/chip or laptop/PC manufacturers site. Performance will improve with the proper driver.

DeletePress ctrl + alt + F12" gives lots of Intel graphics settings but does not give memory used by the graphics chips on my HP envy laptop however dxdiag does show it as 4gb.
Record in a word-taking care of project or spreadsheet every possible home change wander you have to wrap up. Join little endeavors or ones that are more for no specific reason.
