Gmail Tabs new Feature by Google

Gmail introduced a new tab feature which will make your task of what mail you have to choose to read first very easy.

Gmail provides five optional tabs where they clearly sorts your inbox automatically using special algorithms but still we have a big question how they are going to customize with your own filter is bit confusing yet.

Gmail introduced this feature both for mobile as well as PC and we explained the five tabs usage below.

Primary: Sorts the mails between person to person as well as mails that are not listed in other tabs

Social : This tab will sort all the mails from your social network accounts like Facebook, Twitter, etc

Promotions: This will provide the list of mail about offers, deals and other marketing mails etc

Updates: This will sort all the mails which are auto generated updates, billing mails, confirmation mails, receipts etc

Forums : This will sort all the mails related to discussion groups, forums and mailing lists.

These are the five new tabs which is to be available in your Gmail as new feature.

Enabling Gmail Features:

Enabling Gmail features is somewhat easier task and we clearly explained it step by step below with images.

• First login in to your Gmail account and click on the setting in the right corner (Gear icon) and choose "Configure inbox" from the list.

You will get a list of all tabs available so you can choose from them here is how the list will be resemble

• Now you click on save button your Gmail account will be changed to new style as shown below
