How to contribute to Wikipedia ?
Wikipedia is the free content encyclopedia available in internet which contains millions of articles on almost every single topic in world.
Interestingly Wikipedia contents are not developed and published by a company. Instead it written collaboratively by thousands of internet volunteers who contribute without payment.
About Wiki:
Wikipedia is a wiki, meaning that anyone can edit any unprotected page and improve articles immediately for all readers. You do not need to register to do this. Anyone who has edited is known as a "Wikipedian" and All of these edits add up!
Understanding Wikipedia Editing:
Some pages are protected from editing. These pages have a View source tab instead of an Edit tab.
You can edit almost all other pages other than protected pages by click on Edit tab in the same place of View Source tab
When you click on Edit, you will be prompted to login ( You can still edit the contents without login but your ip will be publicly visible if you edit without login)
So login with your wiki account. If you don't have account. Create it for free in Create Account in top of Wikipedia page.
Now you can see the page you click edit will be available with in a box and you can edit the content.
If you are done editing, you can preview the changes by click on show preview button in top. and you can save the article by click on Save changes.
