Gmail provides easy search queries which will be useful to search emails in your Gmail account.

Will show all mails having the word party in subject line
has:attachment
Search for attachments
(e.g) has:attachment
Will show all mails having attachments

Will show all mail from ram which are having attachment
filename:
Search for a particular file extension in mail attachment
(e.g.) filename:pdf
Will show all mails with pdf attachment
filename:doc
Will show all mails with doc type file attachment
In:anywhere
Search everywhere in inbox,trash,sent items
(e.g.)  in:anywhere coaching
Will show all mails having word coaching from everywhere in your gmail account
in:inbox
in:outbox
in:trash
Search for mail in inbox, outbox and trash
(e.g.) in:inbox Kannan
Will show all mails from Kannan in inbox

Search for all important mails

Will show all mails marked as important by priority inbox
