Before Installing Windows OS

Many people are not aware of fact whats the minimum system requirement to install Windows OS

We posted here some basic system requirements for installing Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8

Windows XP

Windows XP is one of the best sold operating system of Windows family and here is the basic requirement to install Windows XP

(Windows XP will RIP in less than One year Read here)

Windows XP Professional:

• Pentium 233 Mhz or Faster
• 128 MB of RAM recommended (atleast 64 MB)
• 1.5 GB Hard disk space
• Monitor with minimum  800*600 resolution
• Sound card
• CD -ROM or DVD-ROM

Windows Vista:

Windows Vista is the first OS introduced with Aero user interface in Windows family.

• 1 Ghz Processor
• 1 GB of  RAM
• 128 MB of Graphics Memory
• 40 GB Hard Disk with 15 GB free space
• CD -ROM or DVD-ROM

Windows 7:

Windows 7 shares biggest share in OS market after beating Windows XP OS market.

• 1 Ghz Processor
• 1 GB of RAM
• 64 MB of Graphics Memory atleast WDDM drivers.
• 20 GB of Hard disk

Windows 8

Windows 8 is the new OS introduced in last year October with Tile based user interface and many new features.

• 1 Ghz or faster
• 1 GB RAM (for 32 bit) and 2 GB RAM (for 64 bit)
• 16 GB Hard disk 
• Microsoft Direct X graphics driver or higher
